The article studies theoretical aspects of this phenomenon and classification of modern models of environmental management, including the traditional models and the model of «green growth». It is shown that the formation of models of the third generation of environmental management based on the «green growth» concept, are characterized by a greater extent for those companies that actively use in-novative "green" technologies in their activities, or focused on the production of «green» goods and services.
