Problems caused by the peculiarities of the climate, especially floods, are among the key issues of logging areas. In conditions of high humidity of soil there is a significant decrease in the bearing capacity of the subgrade. This phenomenon is always destructive. An example is the catastrophic flooding in the Khabarovsk Territory in 2013. Prediction and prevention of occurrence of such events is an important aim. The aim of this study is to provide an alternative method for protecting slopes of subgrade under flooding. A new design of slope protection subgrade have been proposed.

Аннотация: Ключевыми проблемами лесозаготовительных регионов являются проблемы, вызванные особенностями климата, и для большинства регионов общей остается проблема паводков.
В условиях повышенной влажности грунтов происходит значительное снижение несущей способности земляного полотна. Это явление всегда носит разрушительный характер. Примером этому может служить катастрофическое наводнение в Хабаровском крае в 2013 году.
Прогнозирование и предотвращение возникновения подобных явлений является важной задачей. Целью исследования является разработка альтернативного способа защиты откосов земляного полотна в условиях подтоплений.
В статье была предложена новая конструкция защиты откосов земляного полотна.
