Abstract (English):
On the basis of wind-fallen cutting areas analysis in the Republic of Belarus, there have been determined problem issues of their reclamation. The article considers classification of cutting areas according to the type and degree of damage, direction of felling and breaking of trees. This classification will allow making justified evaluation of technical characteristics of machine systems, developing recommendations for wind-fallen cutting areas reclamation technologies. Peculiarities of development for wind-fallen cutting areas have been analyzed.

В последние годы ввиду изменения климата в мире наблюдается увеличение частоты и интенсивности ураганных ветров. Они наносят существенный урон лесному хозяйству, так как кроме значительных экономических потерь, связанных с ликвидацией последствий и восстановлением лесов, обостряется и экологическая ситуация вследствие нарушения лесной экосистемы [1]. Кроме того, ветровально-буреломные лесосеки являются наиболее сложными объектами для разработки, сопряженные со значительными травмами.
