The article examines reduction of technogenic impact of waste agent in the drying chamber process on the environment. Under the influence of heat and moisture from wood, as a result of hydrolysis hazardous substances - furfural, and formaldehyde, release which have the summating effect. The quantitative content of substances in the exhaust agent depends on the drying mode and the amount and the form of moisture in the wood. The recommendations on the organization of the drying chambers are developed to reduce the concentration of harmful substances in the surface layer for the work area and the impact of industry on the environment.

При проектировании сушильных участков или цехов и последующей эксплуатации сушильных камер необходимо стремиться к минимизации воздействия вредных веществ на окружающую среду. Для разработки мероприятий по уменьшению воздействия вредных веществ на окружающую среду необходимо учитывать количество вредных веществ выделяемых из древесины. Оценка состава отработанного агента сушки показала, что наибольшую опасность для окружающей среды и человека представляют вещества, экстрагируемые водой из древесины лиственных пород. В количественном и качественном отношении можно выделить фурфурол, а также в меньших количествах формальдегид. Кроме того, данные вещества обладают суммационным эффектом [1].
